Anyone turned their master bath into a spa? Worried I'm biting off more than I can chew
So I've been in my Palo Alto house for about eight years now and the master bath is the last room that still looks like it's stuck in 2005. I keep seeing these gorgeous spa bathrooms online with the freestanding tub, the rain shower, the little bench and niche, and I'll admit I'm tempted. But every time I get serious about it I start panicking about the cost and the timeline and whether my house even has the plumbing for half of it. I've been digging into spa bathroom design and renovation in Palo Alto (https://kitchenbathpaloalto.com/services/bathroom-remodeling/) because I want someone who actually gets the whole steam shower and heated floor thing without turning my place into a construction zone for six months. I came across kitchen bath palo alto while searching around and their bathroom page looks interesting but I don't know anyone who's used them. My question is for anyone who's actually done a spa style remodel. Was it worth the splurge or did you end up with a bunch of features you never use? And how do you keep the project from spiraling into every room in the house? I'm excited about the idea but also worried I'll regret starting it.
